Saffron Velvet Sour

This sophisticated spin on a vodka sour features saffron-infused honey for a complex, indulgent flavor.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Shine Vodka

  • ¾ oz fresh lemon juice

  • 1 egg white

  • ¾ oz saffron-infused honey syrup:

    • ½ cup honey

    • A few saffron strands (set aside some for garnish)

Steps

  1. Combine Shine Vodka, lemon juice, saffron-infused honey syrup, and egg white in a shaker.

  2. Dry shake (without ice) vigorously for 15–20 seconds to create a thick foam.

  3. Add ice and shake again for another 15–20 seconds.

  4. Strain the mixture into a chilled glass. Garnish with saffron.

SAFFRON-INFUSED HONEY SYRUP RECIPE

  1. In a saucepan over low heat, stir equal amounts of honey and water until the honey dissolves.

  2. Add strands of saffron and warm for 10–15 minutes on low heat, until fragrant and golden in color.

  3. Let the syrup cool, strain and use as needed, then refrigerate any leftover.


Vodka Eggnog

A versatile holiday classic, this eggnog blends the smooth, refined flavor of Shine Vodka with the sweet, nutty taste of amaretto.

Ingredients

  • 1½ oz Shine Vodka

  • 1 oz amaretto

  • 3 oz eggnog

  • Cinnamon, for garnish

Steps

  1. Combine Shine Vodka, amaretto, and eggnog in an ice-filled shaker.

  2. Shake until well-chilled.

  3. Strain the mixture over ice into a glass.

  4. Sprinkle cinnamon on top.


The Fresh 75

Shine Vodka replaces gin to create this bright, crisp, and refreshing twist on the French 75.

Ingredients

  • 1½ oz Shine Vodka

  • ¾ oz fresh lemon juice

  • ¾ oz simple syrup

  • 3 oz chilled champagne (or sparkling wine)

  • Lemon twist, for garnish

Steps

  1. In a shaker filled with ice, combine Shine Vodka, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Shake well.

  2. Strain the mixture into a chilled flute or coupe glass.

  3. Top with champagne or sparkling wine, pouring gently to contain the fizz.

  4. Garnish with a lemon twist.
