Espresso Vodka Martini

A modern classic, this cocktail is a go-to digestif with a sharp, lively kick.

  • 1 oz espresso

  • ½ oz simple syrup (optional, for those with a sweet tooth)

  • Coffee beans, for garnish

Steps

  1. Combine Shine Vodka, coffee liqueur, espresso, and simple syrup in an ice-filled shaker.

  2. Shake vigorously until well-chilled and frothy.

  3. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with coffee beans.

Black Lantern

A refined blend of herbal depth and bright citrus, perfect for a late-night.

  • 1 ½ oz Shine Vodka

  • 1 oz sweet vermouth

  • ¾ oz amaro (we recommend Sfumato)

  • 2 dashes orange bitters

  • Orange twist, for garnish

Steps

  1. In a mixing glass with ice, combine Shine Vodka, sweet vermouth, amaro, and bitters.

  2. Stir slowly but thoroughly until well-chilled.

  3. Strain into a coupe glass and garnish with orange twist.

Sapporo

Legendary Japanese mixologist Tatsuro Yamazaki named this cocktail after his hometown in anticipation of Sapporo hosting the 1972 Winter Olympics. Its timeless taste makes it a standout from that era.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Shine Vodka

  • 2 bar spoons amaretto

  • 2 bar spoons Green Chartreuse or similar herbal liqueur *

  • 2 bar spoons dry vermouth

  • Cocktail cherry, for garnish

Steps

  1. Pour Shine Vodka, amaretto, Green Chartreuse, and dry vermouth into a mixing glass with ice.

  2. Using a bar spoon, stir slowly but thoroughly to preserve the liquor’s clarity.

  3. Strain into a coupe or cocktail glass, then garnish with a cocktail cherry (or two).

* Given the limited availability of Green Chartreuse, you can substitute with either Faccia Brutto Centerbe or Dolín Génépy des Alpes.
