Espresso Vodka Martini

A modern classic, this cocktail is a go-to digestif with a sharp, lively kick.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Shine Vodka

  • 1 oz coffee liqueur (we recommend St. George’s NOLA Coffee Liqueur)

  • 1 oz espresso

  • ½ oz simple syrup (optional, for those with a sweet tooth)

  • Coffee beans, for garnish

Steps

  1. Combine Shine Vodka, coffee liqueur, espresso, and simple syrup in an ice-filled shaker.

  2. Shake vigorously until well-chilled and frothy.

  3. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with coffee beans.


Salted Caramel Espresso Martini

Try a salted caramel twist on the popular espresso martini!

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Shine Vodka

  • ½ oz coffee liqueur

  • 1 oz espresso

  • Coffee beans, for garnish

  • ½ oz salted caramel simple syrup:

    • 1 cup water

    • ½ cup sugar

    • 2 bar spoons vanilla extract

    • 1 pinch sea salt

Steps

  1. Combine Shine Vodka, coffee liqueur, espresso, and caramel simple syrup in an ice-filled shaker.

  2. Shake vigorously until well-chilled and frothy.

  3. Strain into a glass and garnish with coffee beans or another drizzle of caramel simple syrup.

SALTED CARAMEL SIMPLE SYRUP RECIPE

  1. Set aside ½ cup water; pour equal amounts of sugar and water in a saucepan over low-medium heat. Without stirring, allow it to caramelize (until it becomes a deep amber color).

  2. Remove from heat; add remaining water, then stir in vanilla extract and sea salt.

  3. Bring contents to a full boil, then stir to preferred syrup consistency.

  4. Let syrup cool, use as needed, then refrigerate any leftover.
