Marigold Vodka Gimlet
INGREDIENTS
2 oz Shine Vodka
1 oz fresh lime juice
¾ oz marigold syrup:
½ cup fresh or dried marigold petals
1 cup sugar
Fresh marigold flower, for garnish
1 dash orange bitters
STEPS
In a cocktail shaker, add Shine Vodka, lime juice, marigold syrup, and bitters.
Shake vigorously with ice.
Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
Garnish with fresh marigold flower and enjoy.
MARIGOLD SYRUP RECIPE
Heat equal amounts of sugar and water in a saucepan, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
Add marigold petals and gently simmer for about 10 minutes.
Let the syrup cool, strain and use as needed, then refrigerate any leftover.
Elderflower Sipper
Aromatherapy in a glass, this delicious vodka mixed drink will soothe your mind and body.
INGREDIENTS
2 oz Shine Vodka
1½ oz elderflower liqueur (we recommend St. Germain)
3 oz lemonade
1 oz lavender syrup (we recommend Portland Syrups)
1 spray rosewater hydrosol
Lavender sprig, for garnish
STEPS
In a bar tin with a scoop of ice, gently stir Shine Vodka, lemonade, elderflower liqueur and lavender syrup.
Pour over ice into a stemless wine glass (or other glassware with a bowl).
Spray rosewater hydrosol over ice, then stir 2–3 rotations to lightly blend. Garnish with lavender sprig.
Thyme, Lime & Lavender Crisp
This floral vodka cocktail is the sophisticated older sibling of lavender lemonade. It goes down fast and quenches thirst, but take a moment to savor this beverage’s full bouquet of flavors.
INGREDIENTS
2 sprigs lavender, set aside 1 for garnish
2 sprigs thyme, set aside 1 for garnish
2 oz Shine Vodka
½ oz elderflower liqueur (we recommend St. Germain)
1 tsp fresh lime juice
1 splash soda water (to top off)
STEPS
Fill a shaker halfway with ice.
In a bar tin, muddle 1 sprig each of lavender and thyme with lime juice.
Add Shine Vodka and elderflower liqueur to shaker. Shake well.
Pour over ice into a small goblet or stemmed rocks glass.
Top with soda water, then garnish with lavender and thyme.
